 A borderline Diabetes diet is just another example of nutrition playing an important role in keeping us healthy. We can choose to eat those foods which keep us fit and strong, or we can choose to eat those foods which weaken and debilitate us, and attack our body functions, taking years off of our life and reducing our quality of the life we lead. Proper nutrition also plays an important role in the management of Diabetes Type 1 and the management and prevent of Type 2. But Type 1 Diabetes generally shows up in children, and Type 2 is usually an affliction that besets adults. Getting plenty of fish, fiber and fruits, low-fat foods, whole grains and vegetables and increasing your level of exercise are sure-fire ways to ramp up your calorie burning, and cut down your weight.
